Privacy and outreach policy
Last updated: 2025. This page exists so you can tell, in about two minutes, exactly what we do with your information and how to make us stop.
Why you may have heard from us
We email people who have recently started a brand and do not yet have a proper website. That is the entire business. We find those brands one of three ways:
- A business email address published on your own website or public business page.
- A business email address listed in a public directory or a public post where you invited enquiries.
- You gave us your details yourself, on this site or by replying to us.
We never buy lead lists, use personal email addresses, scrape private profiles, or message personal social accounts automatically. If we got your address some other way, we made a mistake and we want to know about it.
How to make it stop
Reply to any email with the word stop, or use the unsubscribe line at the bottom of every email we send, or email privacy@foundryline.studio.
One request removes you from every list we hold — outreach, follow-ups and newsletters — permanently. We action it within 48 hours and we do not send a confirmation email asking if you are sure. Your address stays on a suppression list forever so you cannot accidentally be re-added.
What we store
For outreach contacts: your name, brand name, business email, public profile or website URL, and notes about why we thought you were a fit. That is all. We do not store payment details, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent anything to anyone, ever.
If you become a client we additionally hold project files, invoices and the content you send us, for as long as tax law requires.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If we add privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics later, this page will say so.
Your rights
Wherever you live, we will honour the same set of requests: ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email privacy@foundryline.studio and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, and if you are in California you have the rights set out in the CCPA. We apply them to everyone because maintaining two standards is silly.

Note for the studio, not for visitors: delete this box before launch — and fill in the address above. Commercial email in the US (CAN-SPAM), Canada (CASL), the EU (GDPR/ePrivacy) and the UK all require a real postal address and a working opt-out. This site is set up to satisfy that; the address just has to be true.
